Buddhist Lent Termination Festival, annually held in front of the office of Amphur Chiangkhan, includes sports and regatta between Thailand and Lao PDR.

Winter Festival, annually organized by Wang Saphung people in December in the compound of Amphur Wang Saphung, exhibits local products and entertainment. After harvesting season, people take this opportunity in preparation of necessities for the coming season.
